How Klints came to be
It all started in the autumn of 2015, when I discovered rabbit show jumping. To build my own jumps, I needed staples (pole holders), so one weekend I set out to craft both staples and jumps.
Interest in my staples grew quickly, and I began accepting orders. Slowly but surely, I built a website and social media presence under the name “Kaninmärlor” (Rabbit staples).
In 2019, I also started making and selling harnesses and leashes, and then I changed the name to “Kaninselar” (Rabbit Harnesses) to better reflect my focus.
But already the next year, in 2020, I wanted to expand the product range even more — and that’s when Klints was born. The name comes from my last name Rönnklint and symbolizes a broader focus, but with the same love for quality and details.
Klints was registered as a sole proprietorship on June 3, 2020, when I was only 17 years old. Today I’m 22 and still just as passionate about creating unique, high-quality pet accessories.
I have competed a lot with my rabbits, almost every weekend for several years. But recently, competing has been on pause since my jumping star Kesha passed away and the rabbits have gotten older. Still, the joy in the sport lives on.
It means a lot to me to be able to make harnesses, leashes, and accessories for you who compete or train with your animals — the happiness in that remains, and I hope to continue creating and developing for a long time to come.
Thank you for following along on my journey!
